It’s that time of year where we love RUNNING to the mailbox everyday to see the gorgeous and creative Christmas Cards people send! We are so thrilled to be a part of creating Christmas magic by offering Holiday cards to our clients. We’ve become known for them all over the country, and were honored to be included in today’s Wall Street Journal feature on creating fun cards the entire family loves participating in. Check out that photo in the center, it’s Springfield’s own Dondanville Family, a card we shot and designed for them. They did the pretty formal seated photo for mom….and then fulfilled the boys’ request to jump in the lake afterwards! We recently took some photographs for Illinois Kids First to promote National Bullying Prevention Month, which is in October. Yesterday was a big day for Sarah Petty Photography and JH Petty and Assoc.! The official groundbreaking was held at the site of our new building, located here in Springfield IL. We are BEYOND excited to have a new gorgeous and functional studio to help us create the most fun photography around. I had the pleasure of meeting some inspirational leaders and I hope, life long friends recently in an event in California. Dr. Ken Druck and Lisette Omoss were sitting across from me at a dinner party in honor of the foundation started in honor of Druck’s daughter, Jenna. Jenna was killed in a tragic bus accident at 21 while studying in India in 1996. The Jenna Druck Center is a community that transforms lives of so many teens and families. I can’t even say enough about how inspired I was with what they are doing. They sent me home with shirts for my girls and I wanted to celebrate our new friendship and Jenna by creating some happy images. I hope you enjoy.
