It’s been a BIG week for Sarah Petty Photography with the ground breaking of the new building, AND for our educational company The Joy of Marketing.  Sarah Petty and business partner at TJOM Erin Verbeck have released their business and marketing book, Worth Every Penny.  The book has debuted to rave reviews and has been enjoying top ten rankings on Amazon and Barnes and Noble.com.  We love helping small business owners succeed and that is what this book is all about.  The small business experience is hard for any big box store to beat!

Yesterday was a big day for Sarah Petty Photography and JH Petty and Assoc.!  The official groundbreaking was held at the site of our new building, located here in Springfield IL.  We are BEYOND excited to have a new gorgeous and functional studio to help us create the most fun photography around.  Watch this blog for occasional updates…and an invite to our eventual open house of course!

I had the pleasure of meeting some inspirational leaders and I hope, life long friends recently in an event in California. Dr. Ken Druck and Lisette Omoss were sitting across from me at a dinner party in honor of the foundation started in honor of Druck’s daughter, Jenna. Jenna was killed in a tragic bus accident at 21 while studying in India in 1996. The Jenna Druck Center  is a community that transforms lives of so many teens and families. I can’t even say enough about how inspired I was with what they are doing. They sent me home with shirts for my girls and I wanted to celebrate our new friendship and Jenna by creating some happy images. We were recently visited by some very special fairy princesses recently!  Aren’t they so magical and purely adorable.  These lovely images will certainly cast a spell on all who view them.

We love to treat our clients right, and at Christmas that includes a little something special for everyone.  By now everyone has received their gorgeous photo ornament, and we’ve heard rave reviews!  Here’s hoping this token of our appreciation will bring their families years of smiles.
